Our Fleet Manager, Dallas, has been with Gerald Slaven for 16 years now coming to us from major rival Ford. All Dallas wanted to do was sell cars and he was persistent to get his first role here at Gerald Slaven. Since that day Dallas hasn't looked back, neither have we. Now heading up our Fleet department there is nothing he doesn't know about fleet deals, Government and corporate cars. If you need to add a few Volkswagens to your fleet then Dallas is the man to contact.
Introducing our Volkswagen new car Sales Consultant Sherriff. Sherriff was working for our sister company Toyota in sales and service when he decided that Volkswagen was where he wanted to be. He feels Volkswagen is a brand that has always produced quality cars and since his favourite part of the job is handing over the keys of a new car to his clients he felt Volkswagen would be good fit. He would love to be serving as many customers as possible in the Canberra area over the next 5 years and hopes to see you in his Volkswagen showroom soon. If you do go and see him though, be warned, he says he does a really mean Ape Face…… so ask him if you dare.
Eddie has been with us here at Gerald Slaven for almost a year now and he has proven himself to be an integral part of the Volkswagen Sales team. Originally from Spain, Eddie worked in hospitality before taking the plunge into sales. Although we have only had the pleasure of working with him for 12 months, he has plenty of International experience, working in Automotive for more than 7 years in Spain. He has a young family and new baby so when he isn’t helping his customer find the right car, he is at home just being a dad. Coming to Australia Eddie had to learn a new language, a new culture and a new way of life, and we feel he fits in well to the family here at Gerald Slaven. Although he is pretty laid back, he is always striving to be the best he can be and continually move forward in his career.
Samantha is finding her feet within our Volkswagen team. As a Service Receptionist, her knowledge is growing every day and she has some big plans for her future. Outside of work, Samantha still doesn’t get away from cars, she likes working on and fixing on them in her downtime. If you want a new and refreshing approach to servicing your next car, come in and see Samantha.
Peter must be the happiest Service Advisor we have ever met. Always smiling and laughing you can’t help but smile along with him. With over 12 years’ experience as an Advisor he takes his job very seriously. So seriously, in fact, that he became a fully qualified light vehicle mechanic, and now uses that knowledge to be a better Service Advisor. He loves to hang out with family, head out on his mountain bike and generally laugh at anything in life. You can’t help but admire Peters attitude to everything and everyone around him when he doesn’t stop smiling. Peter is a great asset to the team and “crazy, happy person” in his own words. If your car’s in for a service and you need a pick me up make sure you look for the happiest person in Volkswagen and that will be Peter.
Matthew has been with Gerald Slaven for just over a year now and although he tried his hand at Service Advising, he soon returned to his original vocation as a Service Technician. There isn’t much about Volkswagens Matthew doesn’t know and he takes car of each car as if it belonged to his family. Matthew loves to travel, and when he gets the chance he takes off and explores his surroundings. He has plenty of hobbies when he isn’t hard at work on your beloved Volkswagen.
